What’s our story?
We are proud to be an Irish-based specialised CAO career navigation service tailored to the needs of Irish leaving cert students and specifically the CAO process.
Donall Donnelly our founder and managing director has had a very successful career as a guidance counsellor, recruitment consultant and career coach. In over 15 years working in this field he has tried out all the leading career navigation tests in the area before finally settling on this assessment as the optimal experience for the CAO student.
We believe every young Leaving cert student in Ireland deserves the opportunity to reach their optimal potential in their optimal career.
Our assessment holds the key to unlocking this potential by providing leaving cert students all over Ireland with the exact, accurate answers they need to make their career choices BEFORE filling in the CAO form.
What assessment are we talking about and who created it?
Harrison Career Direction Assessment
We are talking about the Harrison career direction assessment.
The assessment was set up by an organisational psychologist called Dan Harrison.
He had a uniquely diverse background in Mathematics, Personality Theory, Counselling and Organisational Psychology and a strong interest in the human mind and Asian philosophy.
He really saw the importance of obtaining a clear psychological picture of each individual student before working out what they liked deep down and what they would want to pursue as a career.
